Anna Shakour is a UK based Producer and a recent graduate of MetFilm School London. With a background in short films, music videos, and documentaries, she has built a growing body of work that reflects her love for visually compelling and emotionally resonant storytelling. Several of her short films have received awards on the festival circuit, with recognition for both creativity and craft. In addition to producing, Anna also works as a script supervisor, bringing a sharp eye for continuity and story structure to set. This dual expertise strengthens her production approach, allowing her to support both the logistical and creative sides of filmmaking with precision and insight. Known for her attention to detail, collaborative mindset, and deep understanding of UK production infrastructure, Anna brings clarity and calm to every stage of production—from the seed of an idea through to post-production. Fluent in English, Russian, Spanish, and French, Anna brings a global perspective to her projects. This multilingual skillset has been especially valuable for international collaborations and co-productions. She is currently producing a feature film in partnership with a team of US filmmakers, managing the UK side of the production and supporting their shoot with local access, resources, and insight into UK rules and regulations. Anna is particularly drawn to stories grounded in real life — narratives that explore culture, identity, trauma, and the quiet complexities of human experience.
